Quality in Tourism Award
In May 2009, White Rose Cottage was assessed by Quality in Tourism, part of VisitBritain. We're pleased to announce our 3 Star rating for "good level of quality and comfort".
What is quality assessment?
When you see a quality assessment logo next to your chosen accommodation, it means an official Quality Assessor has visited the accommodation and given it an independent and trustworthy assessment.
Who does it?
VisitBritain carry out Quality Assessment in Britain. They use extremely rigorous criteria and make reliable and impartial assessments.
How is accommodation graded?
They are given a 1 - 5 star rating depending on what type of accommodation is assessed. The number of stars gives you an indication of accommodation standard, cleanliness, ambience, hospitality, service and food. Generally, the more stars the higher the level of quality.
What do the different ratings mean?
The following descriptions give you an idea of what you can expect as a general guide;
1* Simple, comfortable, no frills
2* Well presented and well run
3* Good level of quality and comfort
4* Excellent standard throughout
5* Exceptional with a degree of luxury
